J. Tod Ghormley, MD
Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Dr. Tod Ghormley attended the University of Houston and earned his medical degree with high honors at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1984. He completed his internship as well as his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock General Hospital in 1989.
After his residency, Dr. Ghormley moved to Arkansas, joining Dr. McCarron at Conway Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic in 1989. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Arkansas Medical Society, Arkansas Orthopaedic Society, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society, and the Christian Medical & Dental Association.
Dr. Ghormley is a general orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacements, sports medicine, arthroscopic joint surgery, hand and foot surgery, and spinal injections. He is active at Conway Regional Medical Center as a member of the credentials committee and a board member of the ambulatory surgery department.
Dr. Ghormley has been married to his lovely wife Mimi for over three decades. They have two married children and one grandson. Dr. Ghormley enjoys racquetball, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, marathon running, and reading. He is involved in his church as an elder, life group leader, and prayer counselor. He and Mimi are actively involved in overseas missions and locally at the Pine Street free clinic.
